Steve-
I didn't find a Supper Club in SJ for ya but here's something that looks cool:
Wine Tasting Party — Food and Wine Pairing
'The Loft Bar and Bistro has Wednesday night wine and food pairings......... Every first Wednesday of the month Loft in San Jose invites local wine makers to the restaurant and offers a great lineup for Wine Tasting. From Cabernet Sauvignon to Pinot Noir, wine lovers are sure to be delighted. Ask a manager to help with Food and Wine Pairings to enhance the dining experience and enjoy a personal California Wine Tour'.
If you like it-maybe you can be the first to suggest Michel-Schlumberger wines to them:)

Also-why not start your own supper club? Get one other wine loving friend and start with a small group at someone's house where everyone brings a bottle of....for example: Piemonte region red?

Hi

I live in San Jose. so close, but Supper Clubs here seem to be dance clubs.
I didn't see a wine dinner or byob dinner is the bunch. What you describe sounds wonderful. If I can only find one...
