Only a few times in your life may you have the opportunity to cross paths with somebody who is the ultimate representation of what a human being should be. What if that somebody was an entire family? The Acevedos are that family.
I’ve worked with, hung out with, played soccer with, drank with and have become great friends with them since I’ve worked here at Michel-Schlumberger. I’ve worked with Javier Sr., Adelina, and Javier Jr. for 14 years now. They really are the glue behind this entire operation. I know it seems like the most overused cliche in the biz, but it’s true.
Javier Jr. is our maintenance manager and keeps things in tip top form both inside and out. Adelina is here M-F at 6am making the place look like the palace that it is. And Javier Sr. is the Maestro of everything that grows here at the estate. He manages a crew of 8 guys and has a keen understanding of what vines need and when they need it (due to the fact that he has been living on the estate property since 1980). On top of all their respective professional prowess, they’re the finest people on the planet.
If you could measure charisma, their meters would be pegged to full. Thank you Javier, Adelina and Javier.
